Training and resources
ISIS provides an open access new media resource for artists in the North East. The facility is used by artists working with us on residencies, productions and events, by artists working on their own projects who require the facilities and support of an experienced technician and by artists wishing to receive customised training.
Our new media suite is a dedicated facility for artists and arts organisations wishing to explore the creative potential of new technologies. We offer Apple Macintosh and IBM-compatible desktop and laptop systems, flat bed and slide scanners, CD/DVD writers, A3 colour printing, digital stills and video cameras, audio recording and performance equipment (mixing desk, MIDI controllers, sound cards etc.), data projectors, broadband internet access, industry standard graphics and multimedia applications, and a fully digital video editing facility.
We can offer many different software packages including: Dreamweaver, Flash, Director, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DVD Studio Pro, iLife, ProTools LE, Cubase SX, LiSa, junXion and many more.
