Margaret Sharrow’s practice is rooted in video and photography as a self-documented performance. Her work is concerned with time. By employing alternative photographic processes, she attempts to represent the changeable and the impermanent, questioning traditional photographic values such as sharp focus and the accurate representation of an apparently ?xed physical reality.
Sharrow has exhibited and performed at Tate Britain, Liverpool's FACT, Manchester's greenroom, Oriel Davies Gallery in Newtown, New Gallery London, and St Dogmaels Gallery in Pembrokeshire.
While at the Nomadic Village Margaret Sharrow will continue to work on a project called ‘String Theory’, working in the landscape she will explore county and national boundaries and create a series of disconnected moments. The work will be documented through photography, video and animation.
