Voices of Culture Reports Online
The reports from Voices of Culture, a series of structured dialogues between the European Commission and the cultural sector have been released online.
Through the structured dialogue, the Commission maintains a regular dialogue with civil society. During this process, stakeholders provide key ideas and messages that can also be shared with the relevant OMC (Open Method of Coordination) experts. This dialogue with the culture sector provides a framework for exchanging views and information, and ensures that the voice of civil society organisations is heard.
In June 2015 our associate digital curator Dominic Smith took part in the discussion around audience development via digital means and co-edited the brainstorming report, which he presented back to the Commission. The report can be downloaded here.
In March this year, our Co-director Clymene Chrostoforou took part in the discussion about intercultural dialogue and bringing communities together through shared public spaces and co-edited and presented the report, which can be downloaded here.
These dialogues aim to strengthen the advocacy capacity of the cultural sector in policy debates on culture at a European level and encourage collaborative ways of working.
