Neighbours is an exhibition of work created by animator Sheryl Jenkins, writer Matt Hargrave, visual artist Helen Law and local groups across the City.

Neighbours examines the issues of community and good citizenship in areas of Newcastle that have suffered most from prolonged decline and change.

Through animation, creative writing, sculpture and installation, the artworks created provide insight into the communities' contemporary sense of place and reflect upon wide ranging aspects of society; examining a collective sense of community responsibility; how a community portrays itself, how it is viewed and where it is going.

Commissioned by Newcastle City Council Arts Development Team in partnership with ISIS Arts
