Newbiggen by the Sea

A Sure Start project working with the two nurseries Winsor First School and Moorside First School.

ISIS developed a programme of work enabling the children and staff to enhance their existing outdoor areas working with artists Jo-Anne Bolton and Jyl Friggens. Together they built a hazel den which they wove living willow through. The children went on to create a garden area, planting flowers and herbs. They also painted wooden wind breaks, decorative features and a large silk banner for the nursery.
