COMMISSIONS

The small commissions resulted in 3 new web and 3 moving image works by artists Laurie Halsey Brown, Rob Kennedy, Manu Luksch, Sophia New, Spencer Roberts & Anneke Pettican, and Miranda Whall. The works reflect a broad range of practice, as each of these artists uses the tools of new media in different ways to articulate their ideas across a variety of mediums and disciplines. From performance, drawing, video and installation, to online data and cctv, the works represent a wide array of experience and approaches to artmaking.

Each artist was provided with a production bursary along with studio space and technical support for two weeks at ISIS Arts. The artists then continued developing the works in their studios, but remained in dialogue with ISIS throughout the process.
