Great site; thanks. Zighting is a scale of temperature on which zero degrees is the most comfortable, -1 degrees is too warm, and positive 1 is too cold. Three degrees is too hot or cold for life of any kind to exist. With such a rap-around thermal context as 3 degrees Zighting, a doughnut-shaped thermometer will be essential. The Zighting scale does not have a two degrees frame of reference, as there is little need for one.

For myself, zero degrees Zighting is roughly 15 - 18 Celsius.

According to Ed Taylor, zero degrees Zighting is approximately 20 degrees Celsius.

And according to Reginald Bent, zero degrees Zighting is generally 292 - 295 degrees Kelvin.

So what do you think? Where would you put zero degrees Zighting?

Your website interests me very much and some of the artists as you will see from the website we are egaged in philosophy in action and use video as a means to relate virtual to real ourexpression is often dramatic and poetic we are now waiting on grant decisions from arts council and newworknetwork bodies where you can see some of the debate in our project "thinking about thinking" we are dealing with the digital image from both a figurative live performance and painting/drawing source in projecting ideas of consciousness in the layers of the mind I could go on & on but what we would like to know is whether you think this project/performance is suitable for crisis ( a term I like because of systems of communication blocking real consciousness in the mind-crisis) is there some purpose in setting up a dialogue on these lines, ie. working anti-dualism on digital/virtual/real/corporeal/abstract/poetic/philosophical/performance/video/sound, AND,WE WANT TO RELATE TO A WIDE PUBLIC EVENTUALLY, But first although we have been working on this from various aspects to set up a short residency to experiment and expolore more possibilities and find other like-minded-artists.
Many thanks and hope to hear from you
