Kevin Carter

Artist Kevin Carter is currently developing a new work EC-PC as part of an ISIS research residency.

Over the last ten years Kevin has, independently and in collaboration, created art works and proposals that blur boundaries between art, technology and architectural practice. The work is borne out of conversations and collaborations with those stakeholders that are directly involved in the development and consumption of a project and it is often delivered through architectural and sculptural installations and/or large-scale media interventions. A consistent focus within his gallery, public realm and studio practice is the establishing, exploring and deconstruction of particular meaning or point of view. This approach can be understood as a series of snapshots, which critique how particular meanings are produced via the manner of creation and the means of their display.
